Introduction to Eau Claire, WI

90 minutes east of the
Twin Cities and 2.5
hours north of Madison.

For those of you unfamiliar with Eau Claire (pronounced "Oh-clare"), Wisconsin, we thought we would provide you with some basic information as well as a few links you can visit to become more familiar with this area.

Eau Claire is located in what is known as the Chippewa Valley, consisting of other nearby cities: Chippewa Falls (just north of Eau Claire) and Menomonie (30 minutes west of Eau Claire). This city prides its self for being a safe community with low crime rate and great public schools, the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley Technical College.

Located in west-central Wisconsin, Eau Claire is approximately 90 minutes East of the Twin Cities, two-and-a-half hours north, northwest of Madison, four hours northwest of Milwaukee, and five hours northwest of Chicago.
